Moorish architecture and interior design, is a style within Islamic architecture which developed in the western Islamic world, mainly Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
Within the vast array of its design’s we intend to select the most interesting and timeless details from this era to develop each section of the Villa.
A few decorative motifs that we intend to utilize in our design are, Floral and Vegetal Motifs, Interlacing Motifs, Geometric Patterns, Muqarna’s , Zellij, etc. are the few design intents we would incorporate in our design.
The Patterns and Motifs would be reflected through Relief works, Screens, Fabrics, Carpets, Furniture etc., all blended together within a contemporary background.
-Colors play an important role because of their remarkable qualities. Effects that colors can have on people are psychological, intellectual and spiritual.
It is generally accepted that Green color creates a feeling of harmony, peace, balance, sympathy and self-esteem. It relieves nervous tension. Even the Holy Qur’an highlights that the green color is the color of some articles in Paradise (Jannah)
