Our Design Philosophy

"When we approached Zenab, we were not very clear on how we wanted the interiors of our new apartment designed. All we had was a budget and the ask to design something which was simple, aesthetic and did not look like an apartment out of a catalogue. Zenab and her team did a fantastic job in delivering us our dream apartment. Her designs were simple, bespoke with lot of attention to the nuances. She was very patient in walking us through the various options and made us feel equally involved in the design of the house. I believe she has the unique ability to understand the taste/ preferences of her clients and come up with design concepts which are aligned to the same. Thank you Zenab & your entire team for everything that you did to transform our apartment into our HOME!"

"Zenab was introduced to me in Dubai. I loved the look of the bungalow she had designed. I found it very cozy , homely, yet contemporary.
I had thought that if ever I would get a new home, I would ask her to design it as she would be the right person to execute a project that expressed my love for art and design. Zenab was quick in understanding what I wanted. Very adaptive in accommoding my need for a blend between stylish, yet having clean contemporary lines, yet she was firm in her design sense. I felt very easy to work with her and I liked her gentle authority as it gave me confidence and a sense of anticipation about the outcome.
She understood my desire for art to be beyond walls. I particularly liked the commissioned light features in my Majlis room that was inspired by my geometric motif- Breathe in Breathe out.
Finally when the home was completed and we stepped in, I was just in awe of how beautifully the house had turned out and for the little touches they managed to add.
All in all we are very satisfied how my vision was translated by Zenab and her team to make us feel at home and at the same time experience luxury.

Shukran team MELD 😊and all the best for 2025!"

"Working with Meld Design Studios to design our home has been an outstanding experience. Every aspect – from the design and aesthetics to practicality – has been thoughtfully crafted. The team’s promptness and availability to address any doubts or concerns made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
From our very first meeting, Meld envisioned our dream home and worked diligently to bring it to life. There were moments when I wondered, “Will this really work?” but their confidence and expertise reassured me, and the results speak for themselves. Every detail, from measurements and selections to mock-ups and site visits, was meticulously planned and executed with the utmost professionalism.
Today, when anyone enters our home, the first thing they say is, “Wow!” A heartfelt thank you to Meld Design Studios, especially Altaf and Zenab, for your incredible teamwork and dedication. You’ve truly turned our dream home into reality!"

"We have always had a home which was traditional and not ultra-modern. We wanted to retain the traditional but with a modern tinge. Zenab managed to do that beautifully. She spent time with each member of the family trying to understand our tastes and likes and dislikes. The children’s room was done keeping in mind that the girls will share the space so every corner was utilized. I have never seen such a unique concept to store handbags as was created in my bedroom. The crockery storage unit was another coup for us. The biggest plus was how she managed to convert our kitchen into a bigger space for us. Zenab was inventive, innovative but never compromised on class and elegance. We love the space she has created for us and what’s great is she is still a phone call away for advice and help."

"We came to know Zenab 8 years ago when she spearheaded our office expansion and redesign project. We had a very clear vision of what we wanted and Zenab was able to deliver. The design, execution, and finish that she delivered were truly world-class. Her attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our every wish made the entire experience very enjoyable. Since then, we have used Zenab’s services for our residence as well and also recommended her to our friends. Needless to say, everyone has been extremely satisfied with her work. She is truly a fantastic designer!"

"A home defines your personality and it speaks about the people living in it. Altaf Saifee believed in this and created a beautiful home for us. A family of 5 had ideas pouring in and Altaf with his patience and understanding made a perfectly good comfortable home. Each detail was looked into and crafted so well. Shopping from the basics to the accessories were all helped by Altaf guiding us to make the perfect choice. What we greatly appreciated was a visit by his wife while the house was being done and her inputs added to the personal touch. Trusting Altaf with our home was a decision we will always be grateful for."
